Gemmel Hotel is situated across the street from the old town, which makes it the perfect spot to chill at after a mind-boggling day in the city center.
I loved that it wasnβt just a boring room, it was more like an apartment. Let me describe it for you.
Downstairs, you open the door into the living room, on the left is the bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet. On the right is the living room with a bathtub, TV, and a balcony facing the indoor courtyard where you can lie on lounging chairs.
Upstairs, you will find the bedroom and a second small balcony facing the street. Itβs perfect to read a book or chill at night. The bedroom has a window cut into the ceiling to let even more light in.

Outside, there is a 360-degree view rooftop with a table and chairs to spend some relaxing time. If youβre lucky, you might see fireworks and a gorgeous sunset reflecting on the mountains around you.
In the morning, youβll have a free Chinese breakfast in a restaurant across the street.
I found it to be an excellent deal, and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
